This week, the mainstream price of titanium concentrate in the Panxi region remained weakly stable. Due to a decline in the operational rate of miners in the Panxi area, overall titanium ore supply has decreased, leading to firmer quotations from miners and more cautious shipments, with actual transaction prices remaining stagnant. As the weather turns colder, raw material supplies for miners in the Chengde area have decreased, with some processing plants halting production, mostly fulfilling existing orders. With the holiday approaching, some miners may stop taking new orders. Currently, the price for titanium ore with a grade above 38% in the Panxi area is around 1400 yuan/ton, while the price for 46% grade titanium concentrate is about 1930-1960 yuan/ton (excluding tax), and for 47% grade 20 titanium concentrate, it is between 2000-2200 yuan/ton. Yang Xun, an analyst at Yan Tai Industry, believes: The stalemate between supply and demand is becoming increasingly apparent, with both sides in a tight situation. In the short term, the mainstream titanium ore prices in the Panxi area are likely to remain stagnant.
